Amsterdam - Brussels - Rock Wercther

The Vice Capital of the world beckons – it’s time to put on those party hats. From its infamous coffee shops and red light district to the Van Gogh museum and floating flower market, the one thing you can be sure of is having a beer in your hand and bags under your eyes from the lack of sleep.

Head on to Brussels and its various pubs including one with 3,000 beers. And once your done with the last bit of sightseeing, its time to head to ROCK WERCHTER - one of the crazies rock music festivals in the world.

Partying in Amsterdam
Your gonna stay right in the middle of all the action in Amsterdam. Go crazy and get truly wasted into the wee hours of the morning each day, traverse the red infamous light disctrict and maybe even experience some of its coffee shops. Share stories with new travelers while stumbling from one bar to the next!

Waffle Capital of the World
Belgians love their waffles. And food is a very very high priority. Come to the land of waffles, and eat till those jeans get too tight and you can eat no more. When you've eaten your fill, buy packets and packets of Stroopwaffles to bring back home.

Rock Werchter
Welcome to one of the best live rock festivals in the world. And this years’ lineup includes Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Blink-182, Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Imagine Dragons and many more to be announced. 1 festival, 3 stages, 4 days, 85 artists and 150,000 screaming fans


  • Airport pick up from Amsterdam International Airport to hostel

    • Amsterdam and Brussels in 4 bed dorms in centrally located, highly rated hostels.
    • Rock Werchter – Camping at the premium camp site – The HIVE Resort –pre-pitched 2 man tents with air mattresses provided.
  • All transfers between cities by bus/train

    • Walking tour in Amsterdam.
    • Pub crawl in Amsterdam.
    • Tickets to all 4 days at Rock Werchter i.e. June 29 to July 4, 2017.

Day 1

  • Arrive in Amsterdam (Schipol) International Airport.
  • Transfer to your awesome hostel located in the middle of all the action in Amsterdam.
  • Chill out and walk around the bustling city or have some drinks at the hostel bar and get to know other travellers there.
  • Take a walk through the Red Light District of the Vice capital of the world. But make sure you’re back in time to go for the crazy pub crawl - seriously you cannot sleep in Amsterdam.

Day 2

  • Have a hearty breakfast – it’s the best way to get rid of that hangover.
  • You are going to need your energy to go on a walking tour and check out some of Amsterdam’s main attractions.
  • Chill out for the rest of the day – visit one of the many coffee shops or have a beer and watch the world go by.

Day 3

  • After breakfast head out to the Singel canal, where you can spend hours admiring flowers at the worlds only floating flower market.
  • Catch the many attractions Amsterdam has to offer,that you may have missed such as:
    • The Anne Frank house
    • Van Gogh Musum which houses the largest Van Gogh collection in the world
    • For those who want, there’s also plenty of shopping in Amsterdam
  • Last day in Amsterdam – we’re guessing you are going to be back at the coffee shops J

Day 4

  • Quick breakfast (and maybe a last trip to a coffee shop) and transfer to Amsterdam Central station for your train to Brussels.
  • Arrive at Brussels, transfer to the hostel and check in.
  • Walk around Grand Place – the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the main square of Brussels
  • You are in Belgium so eat as many waffles as you can. And, fries which are originally Belgian and not French – so make sure you don’t ask someone for “French” fries J
  • Go to the must do in Brussels – DELIRIUM, the bar with over 3000 types of beers. Ladies, they have a whole load of stuff you will like from peach flavoured beer, coconut beers to chocolate beers. For those missing home already, they even serve Kingfisher.

Day 5

  • Transfer from Brussels to Rock Werchter via train and bus.
  • Arrive at Rock Werchterand check in to The Hive where your pre-pitched tent will be waiting for you (with your air mattresses).
    • The Hive has its own entertainment zone, café and let’s be honest about what is most important – flushable toilets.
  • Head into ROCK WERCHTER – one of the largest rock festivals in Europe and the Woodstock of our time.

Day 6, 7 & 8

  • Do as you please. Catch the acts you want and party with the 1 lac 50 thousandfestival attendees.
    • The 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2012 and 2014 festivals received the Arthur award for best festival in the world at the International Live Music Conference (ILMC).
  • Headlining acts already announced include some of the biggest artists in world such as
    • Foo Fighters
    • Radiohead
    • Linkin Park
    • Kings of Leon
    • Blink-182
    • System of A Down
    • Imagine Dragons and many, many others

Day 9

  • Head back to Brussels for the last night of your trip.
  • Potter around the streets once you are up and pick up some goodies – by which we mean Belgian Chocolates. Or, make most of the summer sales that will have just started!
  • You have to make your last night count and the only way we know how to do that is by getting truly wasted. So hit one of many pubs Brussels has to offer.

Day 10

  • All good things have come to an end – it’s time to back home yo!
  • Take your flight back home.
