Halong Bay
Ride a party boat through this magnificent bay and when the beers have done their job, jump off and take a dip in the cool waters. The more adventurous can go Kayaking. All as long as you leave enough energy for even more crazy partying at night.

Mai Chau Valley
Take a step back and relax in the midst of the hills and rice paddy fields of Mai Chau. Cycle through the paddies and explore a different culture. Bike up to the largest dam lake in the South East and learn to fish like the locals. Most importantly, get that much needed break.

Street food and crazy partying in Hanoi
A thousand years of experience has been put to great use, in perfecting the art of satisfying munchies. Eat at its local street food markets before you make your way hopping through pubs and partying it up.

Itinerary

Day 1

  • Arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam.
  • Head from the airport to the hostel and check in to the coolest, hippest hostel in Hanoi.
  • Free time: Potter around and check out the street markets and awesome street food.
  • Get back to the hostel for drinks and time to mingle with other travellers.

Day 2

  • Early morning departure from Hanoi for Halong Bay.
  • Start your party cruise through Halong Bay. Head through the less touristy parts of the bay, and see the floating villages and many gorgeous limestone formations that look like mountains.
  • Jump off the boat into the cool calm waters when it gets too hot.
  • Eat a scrumptious local dinner with sea food, meats and veggies on the boat and get ready for a crazy night of partying with the most awesome drinking games.
  • Spend the night in your private rooms with your own private loos on board. 

Day 3

  • Wake up with a hangover and eat your breakfast.
  • Try your hand at kayaking. Don't worry, being a bay there isn't much of a current to paddle against. And it's a good way to burn the alcohol that hasn't left your body yet.
  • Head to the island to spend the night there.
  • Have a relaxed evening on the beach and some tasty food.

Day 4

  • Wake up with ease and eat breakfast, take a dip in the water and relax.
  • Eat an early lunch and realise its already time to leave paradise.
  • Boat and a bus ride back to Hanoi.
  • Check back into the hostel.
  • Its time for one of the largest parties of the year! HALLOWEEN - get ready for a unique night out in Hanoi.


Day 5

  • Grab your breakfast at the hostel and get ready for a day of exploring and doing as you please:
    • The history buffs can make a vist to the Hỏa Lò Prison which was used by the French colonists in Vietnam for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. Prisoners of War during the Vietnam war. 
    • You can also visit The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum or just grab a beer and hang out near the Hoan Kiem Lake (Turtle Lake) while you watch the city go by. 

Day 6

  • Breakfast at the hostel.
  • Early morning departure for Mai Chau Valley.
  • Eat a traditional lunch upon arrival.
  • Bicycle trip through paddy fields and around the village with a local guide.
  • Eat a traditional barbeque dinner while watching a Thai dance (yes you are in Vietnam but the village is ethnically Thai. And no, Thai dance doesn’t mean strippers).

Day 7

  • Wake up and eat breakfast before heading out.
  • Motorbike ride to Hoa Binh lake with a local guide - Hoa Binh is the largest dam in Indo-China. 
  • Go fishing the way locals do it. Hotties may also jump into the water!
  • Tranditional Vietnamese lunch at a local fisherman’s house.
  • Ride back while taking in the serinity of the valley.

Day 8

  • Wake up and eat breakfast.
  • Hike to a cave or explore the local markets where people come from neighbouring villages to sell handicrafts.
  • Eat lunch and head back to Hanoi.
  • Its time to get wasted cause its your last night. 

Day 9

  • Wake up, eat breakfast and check out.
  • Its time to say bye bye and the best way to do that is to eat all you can before getting back onto the flight.
