Manila - Puerto Princesa - El Nido

Street food. Hostels. Island Hopping. Sandy Beaches

In short, we, The No Thepla group want you to experience The Philippines as a local rather than a tourist. We’re not just about sight-seeing (although we do love that as well). Explore the longest cave river while chomping down a duck embryo (yes. We said duck embryo. This trip isn’t for the faint hearted) and head to the beaches after! Also, did you know a bottle of rum is cheaper than a kilo of potatoes? (We’re shamelessly hinting at economical alcohol prices)

Island hopping
The highlights of your trip are the beautiful beaches and crystal clear blue waters of El Nido in Palawan – repeatedly rated as one of the top islands not only in The Philippines but the world.

Longest cave river in the world
The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River is the longest underground river in the world. Explore this UNESCO world heritage site and take a boat ride into its caves and admire the crazy limestone’s formations.

Organized chaos of Manila
One of the most densely populated cities in the world, Manila is organized chaos. Walk through its old Spanish quarter with its horse drawn carriages and discover why it was known as the “pearl of the orient” and see how it’s changed over the years.
